Being a villainess, nay, The Villainess, is all well and good, but in the grand scheme of things I find it more practical to impress myself upon the unwilling world by other means....
Specifically, literature.
As is customary, I knew that I wanted to be a writer early on, around kindergarten, but I lost the thread (along with my marbles, etc.) during junior high school. Only a nearly too-good-to-be-true encounter between myself and Clive Barker's Weaveworld got me back on track. (For more about my artistic influences, try here.)
Since then, I've done quite a bit of writing in every genre I could get my teeth into, and I like to think I've learned a few things, some of which I even care to share. My main focus is on fiction, specifically what is commonly termed 'dark fantasy'. (By which I am _not_ meaning sex-with-vampire stories, or general hackwork.) However, I am also willing to lay my hand to non-fiction from time to time. I don't do poetry any more, since it was primarily a vehicle for publicly embarrassing myself and making no money whatsoever.
At this point, it may have come to pass that you'd actually like to read something I've written...
