A lot of people don't like science as a discipline, it seems. I don't know why. It isn't depressing, like history, or annoying, like music theory, or useless, like phys ed, or depressing, annoying, and useless all at once, like philosophy.
Especially not useless. It is to be noted that the postmodernists, fanatics, and hippies who attempt to denigrate science as a way of understanding the world around us, have for the most part had their polio vaccines.
So, despite the critics, it is readily obvious that science firstly is very beautiful and secondly is absolutely necessary to anyone wanting to take control of the world, or even his or her own life, in a meaningful fashion, without the use of leg braces.
